Women / Minority / Disadvantaged Businesses

The construction industry can be difficult to navigate for any business, but particularly for small companies and those owned and operated by people who have not traditionally held a space within the construction industry, like women and minorities.

At TTLO Law, we are committed to working with small, women and minority-owned businesses in the construction industry to obtain and maintain certification as WBEs, MBEs, and DBEs as well as others. We also represent clients in proceedings relating to good faith efforts used to meet project goals for the involvement of certified business entities.

We understand that small construction businesses are not setup to employ in-house legal counsel. However, even small construction companies will need the advice and counsel of a trusted attorney advisor from time to time. We strongly believe in partnering with our clients to provide such advice and counsel.

We assist our WBE, MBE, and DBE clients with custom-tailored solutions, including contract drafting, review, and negotiation; risk management; and training for company leaders and staff so that the business can be self-sufficient and savvy in handling many day-to-day construction-related legal matters.

Contact our office at 612-568-0132 to talk with one of our attorneys regarding your WBE, MBE, or DBE matter. You may also contact us online to provide us with a brief description of your issue.
